CAMS AutoSourcing™ allows you to assign orders to specific air dates, providing a powerful tool for tracking the profitability of bookings.
CAMS™ sourcing imports raw data from a telemarketing organization, compares the orders to the airings in your Air Date File, assigns air date numbers to individual orders then posts order counts to specific airings.
Simple Instructions to Telemarketing
CAMS works with a detailed list of orders or orders summarized by hour for specific products. Simple file formatting instructions are sent to each telemarketing group.
Preview Import File
You can view the contents of an order file to verify the data and proper file formatting.
Audit Trail
Individual import batches are automatically numbered and a list maintained with identifying information on each batch.
Simulate Mode to Test Rules
Rules can be changed as needed and you can run the process in 'Simulation Mode' to test different rule sets.
Set up your Rules for Matching
AutoSourcing™ uses rules you set up; rules include the allowable number of hours between an airing and order placement, matching on telemarketing phone number, station call letters, product account and product code.
Automate Processing
Based on the rules you've set up, CAMS will review all air dates in the Air Date File and compare them to the orders you're sourcing. If a match is found, the air date number will be assigned to the order.
Handle Exceptions
CAMS allows you to handle unmatched orders, reviewing them on a case by case basis.

Post Orders to Air Dates
Orders are assigned air date numbers and are posted to air dates in the Air Date File.
View Profitability on Screen
Once orders are posted, you can view in the air date screen the order numbers, sales volume, profitability ratio calculations and cost per order information.
Profitability Reports
CAMS provides standardized profitability reports as well as the ability to customize your own reports with the Custom Report Generator. License the Report Generator and modify the standard CAMS reports.
